Shadowbridge

Shadowbridge…a world of linked spans that arch high above the glimmering seas. Dreamed into being, it is inhabited by parading ghosts, clever tricksters, statues that speak, and dark, dangerous magic.

Most of all, it is a world full of stories—stories gathered and performed by Leodora, a young shadow-puppeteer who travels the spans of Shadowbridge to learn them all, and who disguises her identity, going instead by the stagename of Jax. She does not yet realize that the tales she collects might attract unwelcome attention—that there might be some entities who do not want their stories told, especially by a remarkable shadow-puppeteer who hides her identity.

With her small troupe—Soter, an elderly drunkard who once traveled in the company of Leodora’s father, the famous Bardsham, and Diverus,who provides striking musical accompaniment for her performances—she will journey not only across new spans but, unwittingly, toward a perilous destiny.
